Ok, so here's the situation: Me, my friend (Rob Noli here on TA), and our superviser Andy were at work last nightit was 11:25, and we were getting ready to leave. So me and Andy asked Rob to go start our cars while we finish off a few things. A couple of minutes later, I heard knocking on the side door, so I went to open it. As I was walking up to the door, all I saw was Rob's face in the window with an "Oh , you're gonna kill me" expression. When I opened the door, the first thing Rob said was "Danny, I'm so sorry. I locked your keys in your car." When I looked outside, I saw that the car was on and all the doors were locked. When he saw the look on my face, he just backed away and went inside. after a few attempts at opening my car in various ways, I realized that I had very little gas left in the tank. After realizing this, I yelled out a very loud profanity and went inside to tell Andy. When I told him, he just started laughing and making fun of Rob. All 3 of us spent about 1 hour trying to figure out various ways to open the car. Then finally Andy said "lets just call the tow truck to come open it. Rob, You're paying." Rob Agreed to pay the $35 it would cost to get my car open. When the tow truck finally came, it was 12:45. It took the guy 30 minutes to get that piece of e open, and I was grateful when he finally did. I was shocked and pleased to see that my gas guage hadn't moved. During the whole ride home Rob had to listen to me telling him how much of an idiot he is. I have now learned 2 important lessons b/c of this:
1. Don't trust Rob with my keys anymore.
2. Always carry a spare key in the wallet. |

Your lucky....normally I'd have to blame myself... :p
I remember one time I was with a friend and we stopped on the 400 Hwy at one of the stations.
It was a hot, sticky day.... :(
Not only did I lock the keys in the car, I left it running with the air conditioner on!! UGH.
Luckily there was a tow guy right there...how embarassing...
(But I haven't done that in quite a while now; knock on wood...) |
