Well, but we are speaking about World Cup 2006, not about past players and past editions. Uruguay has 2 WC and didn't qualify. |

I think Italy have three of the best defenders in the world in nesta (who seems to have found form again), cannavaro and zambrotta, but grosso is perhaps not so good. I've watched barzagli quite a bit this year and I think he's also a good replacement for the two centre backs and hope he would get a game before materazzi. |

PFFF!!! Grosso is sick. Materazzi is better than Barzagli but neither will start unless injury or suspension. |
