It was in response to people above asking why it wasn't released earlier (the "joke" was they'd been editing it)

It's only 1 frame per second and not exactly easy to make out, so unfortunately I'd be surprised if this was the end of the issue as far as the conspiracy theorists are concerned. I'm sure they'll be able to contrive some new way to get this evidence to fit in with the conclusion that they so desperately want to be true... |

I've always wondered bout these conspiracy theories surrounding the Pentagon Plane...
Why would they fire a missile into the Pentagon?
For political purposes? To muster public support for whatever neocon plans the White House had? To invade Iraq or to restrict civil liberties? Well they got all that with the WTC so why knock out you central military planning capability with it?
If it were the government that planned it (surely it would be people from the Pentagon itself that would have to be involved if a missile that big were to be launched within the US?) then they would have gotten more, politically, if they fired the missle into a shopping mall, which would have riled the public more and also would not have shot yourself in the foot by taking out your own military planning capability!
And more to the point, if it wasn't the plane that hit the Pentagon, where the hell did that plane go?! |

What's amazing to me is that people are really out there who believe that a conspiracy has taken place. It's just amazing what the human mind is capable of talking itself in to.
I guess it's the same way Jihadist have talked themselves in to flying in to buildings so they can go to heaven and be martyred.

Thats the old video released right after 9.11.....the newer video is closer and in the first frame of the new video u can see the whole nose cone of the plane coming in. I have yet to see stills of it online though...saw it on TV though where they showed in frame by frame and in the first frame of the new video u can clearlys ee the planes nose. |

First of all, the video doesn't prove anything one way or another. Why did it take 5 years to realease this? What about the other zillion cameras that supposedly "caught" flight 77? What about those? And even if they did have "proof," it would in no way have any impact on other events surrounding 9-11. So much for the straw man approach, your attempt to "so desperately want the 'official version' of events to be true."
This is the part that I find surprising, it's been 5 years and this is the best they could do? They didn't even bother (or so it seems) to doctor in the plane or anything? What a ing joke! |
