Damn, I'm going to love this new Press Sec.!
He doesn't take any crap and he doesn't bend to fear of offending anyone who asks a stupid question. He's also short and to the point, leaving room for more questions and less fluff and spin.
Loved his first conference today. :D
Anyone else see any of it? |

Being that Bush will be out of office in a couple of years, and I can see that you apparently are talking beyond the scope of just disliking Republicans, let me ask you this;
Just where is it that you'd like to see this country go in 20 years? What kind of ideal change to you envision? |

the fact taht i can get the cliff notes minutes later without hearing coughing, pauses, interuptions, yada yada yada, makes c-span lame to most people other than anylists. |

Yah, but as it says in the link, it's a long-dead movement, no?
I think for obvious reasons too;
Whatever issues that drove the movement back in the earlier part of the last century are probably long resolved or moot now.
And the idea that you could over-throw two governments to make this revoltution happen, one of which is the most powerful in the world, is kind of not realistic.
This is like saying that maybe the South will rise again and we'll have a Confederate States of America.....it's not going to happen. |
