...ROCKS!!

Damn, I'm going to love this new Press Sec.!

He doesn't take any crap and he doesn't bend to fear of offending anyone who asks a stupid question. He's also short and to the point, leaving room for more questions and less fluff and spin.

Loved his first conference today. :D

Anyone else see any of it?
Lepanto
Yeah i just finished viewing it. damn, not bad at all. not very orthodox but GREAT! to met he adds humour to the whole situation
donnybrasco
Yah, I detected an ever so slight hint of nervousness, but it was almost indiscernible. I think that's part of what made it seem a bit un-orthodox...that, and his suit and tie. :stongue:
Lepanto
...massive revolts and revolution..yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

It is posted anywhere?

I doubt that Tony Snow is going to be the straw that breaks the Camel's back and leads to "revolution".

Pretty looooooooong way from anything close to that happening. :rolleyes:

I am not saying it will happen, but surely you agree that a dissatisfied populace is more easy to be manipulated by a force that promises them something "better"?

And I didn't say that it would be the straw that breaks the camels back, but it is another straw. Give it another 20 years or so... untill then I am going to vote for the worst possible choice every time to help fuel the flames. :)

Being that Bush will be out of office in a couple of years, and I can see that you apparently are talking beyond the scope of just disliking Republicans, let me ask you this;

Just where is it that you'd like to see this country go in 20 years? What kind of ideal change to you envision?

I find CSPAN enjoyable.

that's cause you don't have a life and you're a geek :)

the fact taht i can get the cliff notes minutes later without hearing coughing, pauses, interuptions, yada yada yada, makes c-span lame to most people other than anylists.

uuuummmmmmmm....I have to tell you; I've never heard of a movement or even one person who's looking for this kind of revolution.

You're not serious, are you?

EDIT:

BTW: To whom is the land being seceded?
donnybrasco
Yah, but as it says in the link, it's a long-dead movement, no?

I think for obvious reasons too;

Whatever issues that drove the movement back in the earlier part of the last century are probably long resolved or moot now.

And the idea that you could over-throw two governments to make this revoltution happen, one of which is the most powerful in the world, is kind of not realistic.

This is like saying that maybe the South will rise again and we'll have a Confederate States of America.....it's not going to happen.
