I used to use dj Full-Torque but I thought it was kinda stupid.
Then I just labled all my mixes with s3nate.
Now I am thinking of using Dj Eccentric. Eccentric seems to be my personallity and also my friend thought of it. |

use to be veezee (it is how you pronounce my last name) , now I switched to J. Hardy .. Jay being my first name, and hardy , i dunno sounds kinda pornstarish lol, more catchy I guess.. *shrug* :)

Haha I guess you can just say I will be a DJ, but just striclty playing tunes out or just making people dance wont be my main purpose. I guess I wouldn't mind being more of a lounge or chill out DJ eventually...but with a mixture of prog and some lower BPM trance too...taking people on a journey and composing soundtracks to experiences, stories and emotions and such, there's got to be more to a DJ then making people dance...or just playing random tunes. More of a writer using music to tell a story rather than just stictly writing something... |
You can take people on a journey and making them dance.
Journeys aren't only for chillout or ambient tracks.
I udnerstand what you said, I also don't liek to play just a good tune after another tune, I try to create journeys witht he music I play. |

I don't dj out, so don't really have one. All my promo's were labelled just wiht my name, but unfortunately I don't have a dj sounding name.
A couple of days ago I was at work and Ben El (or Ell, L being my second initial) jumped into my head (I wasn't even thinking about djing at the time). |

well... unfortunately i dont have a name that just rolls off the toung, such as "rob turner".... nor is my name equally as juxtaposable to yield something so cool as "orb return"
acid john seems too... iunno. alright for a TA name.. not for djing...
i had thought of LSDj before... which looks alright in print... but sounds too much like "Alice Dj"
so... for now, i suppose im going with "John the Chemist" or maybe just "The Chemist"... pretty much because i like chemistry. |
