eBay/MoneyGram scam?

Recently was interested in this item in ebay. Mailed the guy asking for a buy price and he replied with a v.good price includes shipping and taxes. He asked for my name, address and my ebay id so he could proceed on the transaction. After that I received emails from [email protected][/email] & [email][email protected] regarding the payment/shipping. I'm asked to make the payment with moneygram in the 'ebay' mail.
Anyone got experience with this? Comments? Scam or not? |

I've never heard of that. If you dont complete the purchase over ebay, dont send the cash. If you really want to, send the emails to ebay and try to get confirmation that they came from them. Another option is to figure out some way to pwn this dude and post all the details as they happen here.
In any case 99% sure this is a scam |

| Only pay for eBay items using PayPal, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, or Personal Check. It's against eBay policy for a seller to demand you pay any other way, even if they tell you in the auction description you have to pay them using MoneyGram or Western Union, you still don't have to. |
