It’s show time again over at Gallery Towers, as the capital’s favourite weekly club presents its latest dancefloor masterpiece on Friday 9th June. Spread across 3 rooms and reaching far and wide across the musical spectrum, this week’s Gallery features two album launches and 8 of the world’s leading electronic exponents. Starting with the main room, where America’s biggest breakthrough act of the past 5 years – Gabriel & Dresden jet back into town for the official UK launch party for their forthcoming artist album. Having stormed the charts in 2004 with the global smash ‘When the Rush Comes’ (under their Motorcycle guise), G&D have since become one of the most reliable producers of their genre and one of the hottest DJ duo’s around. The Gallery also welcomes back resident Nick Warren (in association with his Hope Recordings label), plus Global Underground legend Dave Seaman – for what looks set to be one of the most talked about Gallery line-ups of the year so far. Carbon Records supremeo Jan Carbon also gets in on the action, alongside rising star Jurrane, who’s given the honour of playing the all important hands-in-the-air finale.

Over in T2 the relentless underground beats continue as backroom resident Slacker returns for his latest bi-monthly adventure. Since launching in February, Slacker’s Jukebox Rebel party has already become a firm favourite with The Gallery’s loyal crowd. Having witnessed some of the most exciting new talent Europe has to offer on the previous two outings – namely Dirt Crew (Live), Nils Noa, Luke Dzierzek and Chris Lake… for party No.3, Slacker invites Timo Maas’ protégé and remixer of choice, Daniel Taylor to make his Turnmills debut. Heavy support comes in the shape of the multi-talented and well-travelled Pete Bones, Jukebox Rebel co-resident Euan McGrath and the Audio Jackers – they of Jack Digital Records fame and Grahame’s Birthday!. Meanwhile ‘out back’ in T3, the second album launch party of the evening will be in full affect as the kings of the compilation series - Global Underground, release the Lost EP - ‘Because We Can’. The artists responsible for this essentiall new bit of tunage are Australia’s breaks/prog/electronic heroes Phil K and Luke Chable, and having not graced the decks in London for a while, the boys will be up for a good ol’ fashioned heads down, eyes up front dancefloor session!! You’ve been warned.
