What are tracklist Cues for ???

I keep seeing these pages with tracklist cues for live sets. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use them
Im wasent sure which section to put this thread inthis one looked like the most appropriate |

Here ya go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cue_sheet
In live sets you use them instead of 'physically' splitting the tracks into individual files before burning to CD eliminating the risk of gaps or pops during track transisions. |
