Toshiba....WISE investment IMO. They make killer laptops. You already got 1GB RAM which rocks, but go for broke and upgrade to 2GB. I think you can run some decent games on there. :) |

| Well Judging from the integrated graphic chip this is using, You won't be able to run the high end games like Halflife 2 or Doom 3 on this thing, But maybe more less graphic intensive games on it. |

| there's always emulating PS1 games. Back when I had my powerhouse desktop, I tried the newer games but always went back to the playstation 1 RPGs and fighting games. All i ever really do these days is pick apart the SNES games. |

| shared video memory ftl. i'm not a big fan of celeron either. i doubt it'll play any of the crazy games like what tigerclaw said but i'd figure it would play battlefield 2. with all the graphic settings turned to low. and a lower resolution. |

| Your bf2 experience will be horrible, if it will even run. BF2 is a much more demanding game than HL2 or Doom3. If you get a labtop and want to game you need a graphics card. I have the generation before your labtop integrated graphics card and I can barely run a 3D game from 2001(NWN). |

Ditto on the BF2. Laptops are trully horrible gaming machines. You can play lower end games, and some of the newer RTS games should run ok. What kinds of games are you looking to try? |

You might be able to get away running BF2 on some low to medium settings at like 800x600 or 1024x768. |
