i'm not really a fan of indian or pakistani food :/.

i loooooove spicey foods, but their type of spicey just isn't my thing. i don't care for the seasonings they use...

Thai iced teas, which is the 2nd best thing in the world.

the first time i ever had Thai iced tea was in Chicago after a night of very very heavy drinking. i swear it cured my hangover in like 5 minutes... or maybe i was just so blown away by the taste that i forgot about my hangover, haha.

mmm and i also love the rosewater lemonade from Middle Eastern restaurants!

I can't eat a lot of Indian food because of the amount of Ginger that places use - I just can't stand that stuff.

Jiggy BAM!

It's just perfect. Their cuisine mezcla of spicy and sweet, just as the twists and turns of life; with a touch of Basil and the rich sweetness of coconut.

Oh wow. Rosewater lemonade? That sounds so... pretty. I'll be on the prowl for that as I still continue to buy boxes of White Pear tea. :D

There is so much food talk and reading I feel like I've gained 10 lbs. in the COR today.

I want a kabob so bad right now... I may actually go get a kabob from the Gyros and Kabob House tonight, all this talk of Ethnic food has made me crave it... :)

it's kind of a strange flavor... it tastes exactly how rosewater smells. it's soooo refreshing though.

i have a feeling you'd like it, since you and i have similar tastes. ;)

i like both since they are both very different from each other. I think green curry has a bit more spice than the red where i find the red as a more water-saturated taste. Green is the type that'll clear you sinus type of curry, not saying it's spicy or anything just that it's a bit more flavorful than the other, just equally tasty depending on my mood and meal.

Green curry with chicken, red curry on noodles =P

OH snap! You just named my absolute favorite dish in the whole wide world! Thai yellow curry with egg noodle. Jesus. I've been going to a little Thai restaurant here for so long, that they now give me free Thai iced teas, which is the 2nd best thing in the world. It's like stick with an IV and pour it all in. Lovelovelovelove it.

I even have Thai cook books just to marvel at the pictures. :p

Let's turn this thread Thai!

What's with all the food threads?

lol the coveted thai ice tea LOL! who doesn't love evaporated milk and the sweetness it brings to your mouth lol.

I think out of all the asian, pan-asian, indian food I've had, my most favorite is yellow malaysian curry with coconut milk over coconut rice =)

different renditions of the malaysian curry, the chicken is chicken, but the beef, the beef is more stewed like, delicious!

there's a difference between good eating, tasty eating, and straight out pigging out! I think we all can agree, a day outside BBQing with ice cold beers is just as good eating as sitting at a table with some king crab legs and lobster.

Both of these dishes have Indian and Persian versions.
