| my previous apt really had a tool as a neighbour. when moving in, he went mad when we started drilling a few holes in the wall. it was really disrespectful of us to drill for like 30 seconds during a saturday at 14.00. |

| last friday the RAs at the dorms came up to my friends suite because of a noise complaint. they came in the suite door and smelled burning weed and the cops came up and busted us all.. we had smoked like an hour before but none of us had any weed on us or any paraphelia so we basically just got banned from the dorms, which is bull considering they never searched us and cant prove that it was our room where the weed was smoked. (each suite has 3 rooms) |

I hate RA's like those. They're freakin peasants. Luckily when I was in the dorms our RA was pretty chill about everything except when one of the guys decided to get drunk and passed in the girls restroom... |

most RAs are pretty chill. they know you're gonna drink so as long as you dont get blatantly out of hand they're cool. the only reason they came to tell us to keep it down was because it was a campus-wide study night since this week is finals |

i once got a noise complaint at 3pm in the afternoon for vacuuming my old apartment.
not much you can do, adi... your best bet might be trying to talk to your neighbors and working something out with them. maybe there's a way you can setup your speakers & sub so that it won't be so loud for them. i live on the ground floor of my apartment building and i've had my music pretty loud before with no noise complaints.
unless your building just has thin walls/floors... then you might be ed. |
