Hi I've found that website on a previous post with loads of midi files on for pretty much every song. But once I've got the files saved, how can I open the on a program such as reason? I'm looking to do some unofficial remixes of some songs just for my self to see how well I can schieve this. Can anyone help me please I'm desperate for this piece of info!!!!!!!
Thanks :gsmile: |

You could always try the import MIDI file function. ;) |

Ah thanks guys u are stars!!!!!
So do the midi files play through any virtual instrument on the rack, or just play the exact sound that is on the midi file? |

Midi files don't contain actual sounds.
And no, Reason won't load any devices for the midi tracks. |

So say If I've got a midi file of marcos cosmicstrings, and I load it into reason, what do I have to do to make it play the actuall sound on the song?
If I load midi files into reason, is it just a series of key notes loaded into the note part of the sequencer on a track? |
