Boston trance clubs

Hi
I am coming over to Boston 10 june and I am looking for a trance gig.
Can anyone recommend a good club that plays trance or a promotor that can help get gig?
I play uplifting trance.

Hey dude,
i'll be as honest as possible, your chances off getting a gig are almost slim to none. Unless you have connections in Boston (and that doesn't seem apparent since you're posting here), it's really hard to get a gig in Boston. The scene here is very small and to top it off, House is the main genre in Boston for EDM. Anyways, good luck buddy. |

ok sorry man... you may want to get inline with the 20 billion other DJ's that want a gig. but yeah its hard to get in just about anywhere if you dont know people in the city. |

| If you play the "McTrance" brand of trance yeah your chances are basically zero. If you play psytrance or progressive you have maybe not a zero % chance but more like a 2% chance. There's a monthly psytrance party that pulls a very large number of people. I spun there in March. PM me for details. |

Yes there is. They had it last night and it did very well. There's also a monthly large house party thing going around that I'm playing at: you just have to put up with a few people playing break-core and ragga.
I've never been to any of the clubs in Boston nor have I tried to play there. The experience of doing this in LA was annoying. Maybe Boston is better. meh:D |

well it looks its gonna be hard to get a "trance" gig in Boston. So I have settled for a "mashup" gig at mashave on 9 june.

| Although I love trance and house music, I also enjoy playing at smaller bars and lounges. The music will be partybreaks with many of my own mashup mixes, loads of scratching and harmonic mixing. |

Man, I wish I could make it out for this... damned work!!! I always love supporting TAs and what they have to offer, just ask a lot of the lesser known TAs (I even made it out to Crush on a Teen Night for DJ Trace --- he's not perfect atm, but he'll be great someday --- I'm a real trooper for enduring the aweful crowd just to hear what Trace had to play... trust me, he didn't dissapoint --- hot set man, I'm still playing that set you gave me the week after --- Rivera is a great way to start a party... wooOooooOooOoooOooooOooooOooo....)
Sorry if I seem disjointed... I'm ed up as all hell at this moment. Hooray for Tranceaddict.com!!! I'll try to make Love Parade, but I doubt I'll be able to do it (I'll only be in Europe for a week at most this summer, and I'll have to take care of my Polish grandmother during that time... she's cool though, so I'm chill with that). |
