Dance Department Podcasts.... KICK ASS...
They have a huge archive available for download off iTunes. They have sets by Tiesto, Armin, Ferry, Trentemoller, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Soulwax, and more!!!
I'm so hooked on them, I wanna get an iPod now just for the podcasts!!!

Padcasts have nothing to do with iPods though. |

oh I know they doont have anything to do with each other... but I want an iPod now so I can listen to the sets in my car! Hahahaha, I only have an MP3 CD Player on my car and I hate it! hahaha

do what i did, get a ipod and have a headunit that has inputs for a ipod or mp3 player on the front. DO NOT go with the fm transmitor thing. the audio sounds like crap and in my car, civic, the antenna is built into the rear window so i get somewhat shotty reception with it |

I bought the 60GB video Ipod and I love it. I dont have to carry those damn cds anymore. I think 60gb is more than enough.
But I would wait around till they announce the next generation Ipod. From what I heard they will make the screen much larger and a touch-pad type of thing. The current screen is pretty small especially if you play videos in it.

Agreed...the fm transmitter is lame. There are all sorts of adaptors or aux inputs up front on new headunits. |

Yeah! I have a Civic too. My brother just bought the 30G iPod, and he was lucky that his damn NEON has an AUX in jack in the front! Lucky Bastard!!! And he's only 18!!!

n00bs...do it right and have a 500gb hd under your seat..that you can take out without a hassle in the world. you then connect it to the computer real quick (hot swap drive) and transfer what you want...then pull out of computer and plug it back in. easy as that. and no worries about running out of space cause you can put any ide hd in it. the only disadvantage is that you have to have a remote where as there are headunits that directly interact with the ipods. and fyi front inputs arent the way you want to go with ipods. get the good hookup that connects via the cdchanger input on the BACK of the headunit. these type also charge the ipod. the connector is the same as the computer one.
btw i have an mp3 cdplayer and i love it. i want an mp3 dvd player now. the only convienence of the ipod is that since it is hd based you dont have any media to carry around...but i hate having to remove and replace files. id rather just have it always. |

yah but you havta balance carrying around all those cd's to handling an ipod in and out of your car everytime.....having an ipod as a cd substitute in your car is pretty annoying......if not more annoying....this way u just leave ur cd's in your car and not have another item on your checklist before you leave the house...

amen. thats why i like the thing i said earlier. replaces cds with an hd but still as versatile when it comes to xferring music to it. |

ok....this stuff is cool and all...but is anyone still using itunes 5? i really need someone who is cause itunes 6 sucks ass..i cant unprotect the ing files and play them in winamp or convert them to mp3 so i can listen in my car.
