apparently there was a limited release recently and the full release comes out soon.
I was fortunate to obtain a copy of both remixes. Definitely revisit the site as they will have both remixes fully released again soon.
My impressions...
Nick Warren Remix: very groovy smooth and definitely packs the punch everyone expects from a nick warren production....:eyes:
Only thing though is the damien heck remix is much more stellar
8/10
Damien Heck Remix: hard hitting basslines with guitars! nuff said.
Damien heck's remix completely blew the doors of my car when I played it. Definitely pick up this copy. Damien Heck never fails!!
10/10
Original Mix: Haven't Bought it yet:( |

Nick warrens mix = awesome
*edit*
When i listen to warrens mix it seems like some elements of music in it sound similar to music from '24', which is probably one of the reasons i love it so much. Anyone else think this or am i just dreaming? :p |

One thing you gotta hate about DJDownload right here - "Limited Release Sold Out."
What kind of sense does that make? What is the point in having limited release digital downloads? I would think that this would only encourage piracy - It certainly won't help fight it.
I really dig this track, especially the Warren remix - IMO, he took a really good piece of work from KT and made it great. And now they're saying it's "Sold Out." Weak. |

Yup - I have no problem openly admitting though that I found my way into a 320kbps version of it, regardless of it being "Sold Out." ;)
I'll pay for it when given the opportunity - But until then, I don't see any other options and I want the track, so as far as I'm concerned, if they won't allow me to pay for it, then it's Hope Recordings, DJ Download, and anyone else who should be profitting from the sale of this records fault, not mine. |

well its official release isn't til the 29th, giving a limited release stirs up some noise (e.g. this thread gets started now) about the track while not being a full release.
I got the damien heck remix and really like it. |

Wait - You've officially confused me.
So, is the "official" release going to be universal? I.e. all stores that Hope Recordings distributes to will be selling the full release?
I do understand the concept of a limited pre-release, but DJDownload has been known to do only limited releases for certain tracks in the past, hence my conern over this mix. The Heck mix and KT's original are both rock solid, I just really wanted to pay for the mix that I personally thought stood out.
As far as thoughts on the tracks (so as not to make my presence in this thread solely about bitching on limited releases):
Out of all of them, Hecks remix stands out as probably the most ambitious of the 3, it's well put together and never bores me. Unfortunately, it isn't something that is really fitting with the direction of tunes I'm playing right now, so out of the 3 it's probably the one I'm least excited for right now.
KT's original mix is great - Have been hearing it for quite a while now on "Obsessions" and definitely fits well with KT's style of Trance and Progressive that I have been a longtime fan of now. Again though, it's just not something that falls within the spectrum of tunes I'm really enjoying playing out right now, so it doesn't garner the attention it probably deserves from me.
Overall though, I would say that this is one of the most all around solid releases in the prog world of late, and I'm really impressed by the work put into it by all the producers who've worked on it. |
