Smith & Pledger - White
View this Thread in Original format

The lads have pulled themselves away from the formulaic stuff of Believe and Northern Lights, and just left a lovely little melody for us to enjoy.

It'll apparently be out on Anjunabeats in June.

Absolutely mint.

Heard it last week on TATW, great tune indeed. These guys are really making hot music. This will be another hit for this summer.

They've done another one entitled Black, which is a bit darker, and these two will go together as an EP. Exciting, eh?

This was quite nice actually, but it's typical Smith & Pledger/Anjunabeats-style so I can't really say this is something new.

Still a pretty cool track to listen to, and it could be pretty massive if you're going to a club.

Quite average.

Its kind of like an inside joke hehe..well an American one, but whatever. lol

I think its a lot weaker than Northern Lights was. It had a really catchy melody and punchy kick which is why PVD played it so much. White's main melody is pretty cheesy Not like S&P at all

Actually a little disapointing.. :D

If that's a joke on the racial implications of what I said, then I understood it. Otherwise, please explain.

I thought Northern Lights was superb, with that great kick and crystal clear melody.

Samples anyone?

If you go to the Anjunabeats website before next tuesday and click on the link at the bottom, then you can listen to TATW #113. It's the fourth track in.

I think you might find it slightly dissapointing if you liked Northern Lights for the kick - this is considerably softer, a sort of cross between Hi-Jack and Sequential if you can imagine that. Even so, the melody, which is what they do so well, is right on the mark.
