Yeah man, they're very friendly. They helped me a lot on the phone yesterday.

As for DJDeals, they have some good prices too from what I've seen, especially on the CDJ-200s (317!) BUT, they are no longer a pio authorized dealer. Pio recently revoked their license after DJDeals apparently leaked info on the 800 mk2s and the 1000mk3s before pio officially announced them...a big no no. So with the loss of the authorized dealer satatus, you loose the Pio warrantee. Keep in mind, it's only for pioneer products that this happened.

doesnt matter what they have on site isnt what it goes for.

you have to email them for pricing.

Also, I wouldn't count on the mk2s being much lower than the mk3s, if they have the 2's at all...

Yeah the price probably isn't that big of a difference because the players themselves aren't that different either, other than MP3 support and some modifications to the platter. But it looks like agiprodj is a good site from what people are saying. I guess I'm just picky when it comes to buying stuff from smaller places, but I guess sometimes the smaller places can be better than some of the bigger...maybe in terms of service and pricing.

I bought my copy of SSL from them. They responded to my inquiry faster than agiprodj and with a cheaper price. I bought from them, the shipping was prompt. I would buy from them again, but I've heard a few people get pissy about their customer service.

Yep, they do have fast service, but if for some reason you have a problem, they can be difficult to deal with. I bought a mixer from them, and it came quickly but when I talked to their customer service they weren't that pleasant to deal with. (This is in regards to djdeals, not agiprodj, if you didn't see the parent quote.)

What about getting from authorized dealers on eBay? Those with ebay shops + few thousands of positive feedbacks...
I thought of getting the djm-800 thru online. I'll check out the sites that you guys have mentioned.

Agreed. I have had that same problem with DJDeals as well. I remember I was looking to buy a certain record bag from Odyssey that I had been able to buy previously at PSSL, but for some reason, they didn't have it listed anymore. So, I found that bag listed at DJDeals and just to make sure they had it in, I emailed them about its availability. They distinctly said it was in stock, so I went ahead and bought that with a can of Gruv Glide as well.

A day or so after I placed my order, I get the shipping confirmation in my email. I thought, "ok, that's great", but much to my surprise, the email did not list the record bag as having shipped. Now, by this point, I was pretty pissed off since they told me everything was in stock. So, I immediately emailed them back about this in a pretty stern tone and asked why the bag hadn't shipped and why they said it was in stock when clearly it wasn't. I remember they copped an attitude and said something like "we'll pretend this is intended for someone else and not for us, because we have no idea what you are talking about" and told me not to email again. By now I was more pissed than ever and sent another email back, and again they returned it in a condescending and arrogant tone. This must have gone on for about 4-5 emails until they finally tell me that the record bag was going to be drop-shipped directly from Odyssey themselves. That gave me some relief at least, but their complete dickish customer service turned me into a non-returning customer within no time.

Everything came perfect, even the record bag, but good lord what a hassle that was. It's interesting though, because all of those emails were sent and returned within a matter of minutes, so they are quite timely, but unfortunately, incredibly snobbish too. Needless to say, they won't be getting recommendations from me.

PSSL.com FTW!

Based on what I've read on pioneers site (pioneerprodj.com), ANY purchase from eBay is considered unauthorized, so watch out.;)

hmm... too bad that agiprodj seems to have a relatively small selection in some areas... i was hoping to find either technics or stanton TTs... and alas, there are none... same goes with trying to find a steal on new ortofon carts. nowhere to be found.

they do seem to have a nice selection of quality mixers... but a mixer isnt a top priority of new stuff for me to buy.

Been 2 days already, agiprodj haven't get back to me thru email regarding the quote price for the djm800 :(

EDIT: Such coincidence! 12min after my post here they replied my email. They don't do shipping out of the US due to dealer agreements.... :(
