Well I just got back in from a fantastic night out with the wonderful girls of the Ameri Corps service volunteers down here in Louisiana (we met through volunteer work for Habitat For Humanity and went out to celebrate one of thier birthdays). We started off the night at Peppers with some nice southern style food and then headed over to Daiquiris for some kareokee and obviously some daiquiris. Since I was driving I was limited to a small sample serving of their various specialty flavours but the girls really got into the music and booze!

I had a blast out in a very country'esque' southern setting with a few good people and it turned into a fantastic night out on the 'town' as far as this area of the deep south is concerned. ;)

Photos may be posted tomorrow, but the main purpose of this thread was to say I had a great time out in a very different setting than the typical toronto electronic event.

It's moments like these I will tell my grandkids about (minus the drinking aspect!).

I hope everyone back in Toronto had a great night as well where ever you were. I'll be back up in 2 weeks and look forward to seeing a bunch of you. (yaw'll) :D

I wish you could have been down here... it was better than Bingo in Raceland! :D

Our epic road trip a few years back will always stay as my favourite time down here. :)

long live sketchy stops at Waffle House and throw endless supplies of beads.

ps since you can get drive through liquor here, I'm enjoying my Daiquiri right now at home.

after reading that I had to go get a shrimp po'boy for lunch... I'm trying to eat as much as possible down here, I only have 3 days left to get in as much yummy cajun food as possible.
