Oh wow. Those are some fine ass pictures. Two things, though: 1.) I think I saw some crop circles in there and 2.) where are the mother farkin snakes on the mother farkin plane?

I have to show these to my wife! She's the photo addict in the family. Thank god for digital or we'd mortgage the house for more film.

Olympus D-545 Zoom.:gsmile:

It's like what someone said in a photography forum. Even if your a n00b it doesnt matter what camera you use, it's how you use it.

That camer cost me $150. $200 with a 256MB card. Only 4 megapixels!

I'm thinking about buying a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-R1. $1000 camera, 10.3 megapixels! Imagine what i could do with that! I can't wait.

yes it's indeed important to realize it's not the camera you are using it's your technique and how you are able to work with what you have.

In regards to the sony camera you are considering purchasing. I honestly know nothing about this model in particular but I seriously think you should avoid that type of camera body.
I realize you may want to avoid spending a little extra for an SLR, but when you approach the 1000$ price mark it's better to make the jump to SLR.
You might want to consider getting different lenses with time and if you got that Sony you would have to change cameras all together.

Though there is one thing that seriously plays in favor of this camera versus getting an SLR is the megapixels. You won't find many SLRs with the same amount of megapixels at the same price ( I might be mistaken as I haven't really looked in a while but I think I may be right about the megapixels ).
