I recently bought a track on beatport called:
Form & Function - Wonderland (Original Mix)(10:07)
After listening to this track it sounds nothing like the version I heard on James Holden's Balance 005 compilation which also claims to be the original mix and sounds like this. Notice how the melody varies.
Now the one I bought on Beatport sounds like this. Notice in this version that the melody is does not vary.
According to Discogs the version that I have is actually the Kasey Taylor & Chris Meehan Mix. Since I don't trust discogs 100% I'm looking for people who own this vinyl which can confirm that Beatport did indeed mislabel an mp3 so I can make a proper complaint instead of going about it blindly. |

I own this record, give me a few minutes and I might be able to help you out.
EDIT - Yep, Beatport has them backwards. Or at least what they have is the reverse of how the vinyl is labelled. You should've been able to tell they were different by previewing the track though. :p |

Thanks very much flavdave! You've been extremely helpful. I guess that means a free track for me since it's their fault. But I won't jump to conclusions. Anyways thanks again:D |
