LOL every second new yorker here has the israel flag under his name, nowias as an isralei who also lives abroadwould like to know if those myths are really true..are there areas in NYQ whereu could freely speak hebrew, buy israeli newspapers and snack...see isr. television?

:eyes: U can freely speak Hebrew anywhere lol. :D U can buy Israeli newspapers, no tv in Hebrew although Israel gets mad coverage :D

Same here, Russian Jew.
In NYC basically there are places like Little Russia, Little Israel, Little Italy, you name it...
In Brighton Beach (Brooklyn) most shop names are in Russian, people actually walk on the streets (SURPRISE for native-born Americans!!!:eyes: ), there are lots of Russian clubs and restaurants. |
