quick creatine question

whats the best way to take it?


and i dont mean pill or powder form. i mean whats the cotrrect way of taking it. on the package it says take it 3 times daily but i also know all they want to do is sell the damn thing to consumers so theyre gonna tell u take more then u actually need.


anyone know the proper way of taking it?

doesnt give me the s.

laoding dose for first 7 days is 4 times daily. then after that twice a day. i usually take it before training and after. gives you more power at the gym and helps speedy recovery after.

when i used to take it i got the s big time. but it did somewhat work.

Eric, when I take creatine I do it twice/day. Once about an hour pre-workout with just a smidge of sugar - like not even a tablespoon full of honey. And once immediately post-workout with a decent amount of sugar - again like honey.

The ideas are this: pre-workout because creatine supposedly takes about an hour to get into your bloodstream and be available for your cells. The sugar is to activate just a little bit of insulin to help load better - again, a small amount pre-workout or you'll release too much insulin and get all sugar high and then crash.

post-workout because that's when your muscles are starved for nutrients and they are most receptive to uptake the creatine and be available at your next workout. Again, the sugar is to help facilitate the loading of the creatine and the protien and carbs of your post-workout meal. Hope that helps!
