Hello TAs, I created yet another song, lol.
I went more for a ambient feel with this one, but its still trance. Lots of elements in this track, I hope you enjoy, there's still needs to be some finishing touches on the song, but for the most part its complete.

Sounds typical for 98/99 era trance.
In general, it all seems very forced. Elements come in "when they're supposed to," without any flow. It's fairly well mixed, but there's no cohesiveness.
Also, just because you use the same template for builds and breakdowns that have been tried and tested doesn't mean that energy will be built for you. You need elements that provide drive, and you need to use them to build your energy.
Furthermore, there's no need to stick to the template. This track was very predictable. I knew when every change and breakdown was coming just by looking at the clock. Don't rely on the clock to tell you when to peak. Let the energy of the song tell you when to do that. |
