After the massive Human Rights, G-spott returns with his new single entitled 'Sadness'. This spans 2 discs which are basically the same in terms of interchanged dub and vocal mixes. Nonetheless, this is a MASSIVE crossover release spanning electro/tribal/tech and even vocal trance.

Here's the details :

Disc 1

Non-Vocal Dub Mix - Excellent club-oriented track stripped of the vocals. This will keep the dancefloor moving. Great bassline and the breakdown is Thrillseeker-ish and quite nice.
The vocal version appears on Disc 2. 8/10 - Listen

Junk Food Mix - Not really my cup of tea. This hops around melodic techy-trance and I can imagine a handful may enjoy it.The vocals are a tad cheesy but still good. 7/10
Listen

Non Vocal Tribal Mix - Vocal version of my favorite version of this track. It is actually listed as non-vocal on Disc 1 whereas the true dub version is on Disc 2. A tribal-electro-techy-trancy track with excellent energy and direction. The vocals especially don't fit this version.- 6.5/10 Listen

Disc 2

Tribal Non-Vocal Mix - My favorite version out of all, this is dub version of the non vocal tribal mix on Disc 1. Top stuff. - 9/10 Listen

Original Mix - Electro-trance with vocals. Good productions but the vocals do not really blend with the track as a whole - 7/10 Listen

Dub Mix - Vocal version of the non vocal dub mix. Pretty good, as the vocals blend nicely. 7.5/10 Listen

Overall, my vote goes to Disc 2 with the superb tribal non-vocal mix that will work extremely well on a lot of floors.
Thumbs up to G-Spott for this varied release.:)
