omg i was drunk last night
congrats to italy on winning the final, hopefully england will win the next one third time lucky. the preliminary final between greece vs. england was imo the best match of the night because we finally got some revenge on the greeks.
there was a match fixing scandal involving australia vs. england, with an angry soups the end result and australia missing out on the finals:stongue: :haha: |

that was heaps of fun! well done to italy, well played!
took paulie and i about 4 hours to find a hangover cure. in the end the train trip from watergardens station through the pits of the western suburbs all the way to the telstra dome done the job.
and the hawks lost. great
til next time :)
ps. must remember not to get smashed before the finals |

LOL
what a night!! err my spelling in previous posts says it all... :p
man
testosterone levels were dangerously high last night...but the drinks were flowing, the tunes were pumping and there was good football to be played, except when germany were involved.... :nervous: my god we didn't score one goal the entire tournament :haha: :haha: :haha:
lol had no idea what i was doing first game or so, and being colour blind didn't help as i found it hard to tell which player i was from the arrows on the screen....
although we definitely improved as the tournament progressed and were quite threatening in our last two matches...just couldn't get the ball in the net...
italy looked dangerous early on and proved to be the best of the bunch on the night, one of the later games between italy and greece was very exciting indeed...
england just couldn't quite get there, were very defensive in some of the matches, i think their keeper robinson was leading possession getter in some of the games hehe.
germany and france both took quite aggressive approaches in some games, a few violent tackles indeed, not too many red cards though! italy in fact managed a convincing win one player down in one game.
australia needs to work on their team chemistry and harmony, one player in particular... :toothless they were surrounded by controversy with match fixing scandles and plans for future team changes..... :disbelief
overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening, lots of excitement, can't wait for the next one!!! :D cheers to gerry for taking me in without knowing wtf i was doing haha and thanks to soups for organising it and scotty for hosting it :D nice job guys! |
