ok I want ot make a mix, and when I select the songs, they seem to be about 5 in a row in the same key.
I think they have a great progression, and the tune slove each other.
I didn't plan to mix everything in the same key, I just notice afte rI choose the tracks, and create a progression.
Do you Think I should not try this beacuse they are too many tracks in the same key, and it will be lack of energy?
Thanks.. |

energy isnt your problem and though im sure its not quite this bad, i CAN relate it to a song that only has one chord the whole way through. dont do more than 4 in the same key or you might loose some interest.
songs need chord progressions, mixes need key changes. ;) |

Hi,
I've tried mixes with 3 songs in the same key, but it's too easy to lose interest. It's better to go 4A > 4A > 5A > 5A > 6A, etc.
Music loses excitement when it sounds all the same. |

why don't you try it, record, listen to it. wait a few days, listen to it again. does it have energy?? well, question answered. |
