I had a UTI, not fun! It spread and gave me a kidney infection...then spread further and gave me a liver infection/suspected liver disease.
Ended up being on alot of Morphine and dropping out of college because i was in hospital so much. Not good. |

+ Mother in 1...a nightmare to get to sleep at night cuz as soon as you lay back down in bed you need to pee. Also you piss out large chunks of your bladder wall lining.

| oh man!! Yeah I've had it 3 times, but thankfully went straight to the hospital and got the meds so it didn't spread so far. Maybe I'm a wuss, but it seriously made me cry how bad it burns!! |

Only had it once.
That was more than enough.

| UTI's are very common amongst women, but some are more prone than others. You don't have to be sexually active to get them either. You can get them from drinking too much coffee or consuming too much sugar. My advice is to drink pure cranberry juice and lots of water. If you can't handle the taste of the pure juice get cranberry pills. If it doesn't get better go to the doctors, because if left uncured it could spread to your kidneys. |

I had a recurring UTI... oh man the pain.
I had so much blood in my urine that the doctor asked me 3 or 4 times if I was sure I wasn't menstruating. Finally, after he believed me, he said "I don't even need to send this in to be tested, it's obvious you have a UTI".
THE MOST pain EVAR!! Seriously.. the metaphor "like peeing glass" is true.

Actually, I saved some of the pain killers they gave me from my last UTI so that if I ever got another one, I had something to subside the pain while I waited for a doc to give me more. LOL!
Anyway, they happen more often if you are sexually active, and it is suggested by doctors to pee after intercourse (every single time) to avoid getting them. |
