Poor Darude, his whole career revolves around that track. It would suck everytime you go to a club and some n00b asks you to play Sandstorm. He hasn't played Sandstorm in 5-6 years. He's more on the proggier side of trance nowadays. But come on, Air For Life, that's a complete turn-off.

caught the last half hour of darude's set in sf last sunday and he was mashing sandstorm into some housey tracks... heard him pull it in and out twice and it sounded clean :cool:
btw from what i heard, darude played a very impressive set. he was belting out the energy without letting up the whole time :eyespop: i can see darude with svd making for a GREAT night of music, wish i could be there :\ |

I was at 1015 for Darude on Sunday as well and thought he played a great set. Better than even the previous time when he played with dallas superstars at 1015!
Kinda getting tired of people bashing on him because of his production work (or dj sets) from years ago. Give the guy another chance, you might be suprised. |

Yea initially after hearing he djs and tours I thought lol. but ive been hearing some good things about him so I am looking forward to his set....
although SVD!!! :D |

As of right now, ICE and Sander's websites don't show him playing there at all.
Can anyone confirm, 100% that he is actually going to be there? |

Yes, I like SVD also, but do give Darude a chance. You will be surprised by how good he really is. Tremendous energy in his sets. I am glad to see that there are some Darude supporters on TA. It gives me hope for Darude and TA as well.
If he plays Sandstorm it's because he's probably being begged by somebody, but when he does, it sounds updated and does something special with it.
