i played around with it in guitar center, a while ago and i liked it alot
all though i don't see alot of reviews of it online, im kind of skeptical now
i am going to buy a mixer around $400 or less
and also i was going to get this mixer because my friend says
he knows a guy who works at guitar center (and they have it there) and can get us some cheap prices
so i thought i'd be able to get this mixer for around 350 by bringing in a print out
from agiprodj. i am going to go into gc this week and buy a mixer for sure
so i need to know which one to get
i spin drum & bass [the reason im posting this on here is because i used to spin trance and i still listen to trance] and i primarily mix (not scratch), but i was also going to use this for playing at
gigs and spinning top40/rap/hiphop [or other gigs where its rock and other stuff],
im trying to learn how to scratch but it isnt going to well, so i don't think im going to be scratching very much.
oh by the way i have final scratch 2, and don't plan on adding any cdjs, but i think that if i have an extra channel for an ipod while at gigs [incase im missing that one song and someone has an ipod] it would help alot or had another output from my laptop for abelton
btw it can be 19", 10" or 12"
size doesn't matter to me
advice? |

bumpity bump.
i too am wondering about this mixer. if all else fails i think im just gonna go to guitar center or sam ash, bang on one, and then actually buy it off agiprodj...
just wondering about any long term issues, gripes, etc that somebody may not notice from an in-store test... |

Im after the dxn900 because of digital I/O.
Only problem is my favourite store VW/StoreDJ dont have the 900 :( . Im guessing mixer wise it will be of the same quality as the dnx1500 witch alot of TAs have. |

i have the dn-x500...same mixer minus the digital i/o. great mixer imo...great sound, solid faders, optional rotary if you so desire for 50 bucks or so...also nice adjustable x-fader curve. i love the 500...don't see a reason upgrading at all anymore.
contemplating getting some of the rotaries upgrades...saw a video for them and they look pretty sweet |

oooh... ouch.
found one potential issue...
if sources are correct, there are a whopping 8 line inputs... but a measly 2 phono inputs. there goes my 3 deck plans for the future.
well.. i could still buy a preamp box.. ah well..
that'd be ever so much more work though.. |
