just finished playing a little warcraft 3 beta.
Pretty fun - still gotta learn some of the units.
However it seemed to me a little bit too similar to the earlier warcrafts - these were classic, great games, but this game seems to add little besides a 3d view.
To me this 3d view adds little to the game. I didn't see much I didn't see years ago in warcraft 2.
However maybe there is more to the game - only played it once so far.

At long last warcraft is coming out!! remeber back in 98 warcraft adventure was meant to be out but instead we saw Starcraft, not complaining afterall Starcraft is great.
How did u get Warcraft 3? was it from signing up to that link on blizzards web page? Warcraft )

| Ohhhhhhhhh man I wish I would of signed up for the beta. The odds of getting picked were really good, 1 outta of 20 entries got picked. |

why dont you just download the iso of the beta and some multiplayers patches and play it online :D
you can dl server software too, and put up an own server (which takes 5 seconds)

Man has annyone checked out the WORLD OF WARCRAFT game that blizzard
is working on right now??? it looks awesome!!
it will be all online, and you have only one character you play.
Like going going quests, intercatin gwith other players.

yeah but WoW will require you to pay-per-play or something along paying money. :( :( :(
i myself too have played wc3 beta. and believe me, there is a totally new dimension to the game that's different than the previous titles.
the units in this game work much more coherantly than any of the older games, kinda like what starcraft revolutionized. plus, the introduction of heroes and lvling and whatnot gives it an edge over most rts's. it's awesome gathering items, i've found a couple in a game and man, it was hype. the items do help out quite a bit.
and on a personal note, i love how heroes learn more powerful spells are they get stronger too. i dunno. :) just check it out. |
