| Honestly, I thought it was mediocre at best. His mix cd's dont do him justice as a live dj. His live sets are on an entirely different level from what he does on ASOT as a mix compilation and radio station. He should just take a recorded live set once or twice a year and put it on a cd every year. Like the Universal Religion cd from his set at Armada in 2004. |

That's one of the most accurate Armin posts I've ever seen from you. His show and releases are the reasons he's fallen out of favor with me lately, not his live performances. Even the end of year megamix was this year. Unfortunately, those types of releases are how he's trying to promote himself, which is why a lot of his former fans are turning their backs on his stuff and starting to bash his style. |

It's all turning to sh*t, to me at least. His live performances were much better in 2003.
Although, I enjoy him better if there's no opener for him, nowadays. That's why I'mma love the summer event this year. :) |

Remy's set was absolutely mind blowing this past January. |

I totally agree with you. I actually went to the last Armin NYC event simply to hear Remy. |

| Armin in Avalon Boston 10/4/03 and 5/28/04 remain the two favorite nights of trance ever for me :) Since then he's not even come close to entertaining me or impressing me and I've given him 4 tries since those awesome performances :( |

His ASOT 250 is so good right now. |

Yeah, because it's live.
I will say after only hearing part of the Ableton mix, that I liked the tracks, but didn't like how they were all thrown together. I'll have to get ahold of the mp3 when it starts floating around to hear the whole thing, though.
Also, the voiceovers...God they're disruptive :whip: :whip: :whip: |
