heard from someone that dirt devils = above & beyond
so i went to do some digging n found out that dirt devils are in fact 2 hard house producing italian duos, not above & beyond.
so..who was the one who posted in the forums linking them together ???
own up..u made a mistake.
so did i.

very true!!.. d-devils is very commerical crap
& above & beyond is pure uplifting quality
they dont seem to connect
i mean, 2 different styles.. i dont think above & beyond are behind d-devils.. |

Dirt Devils ARE Above + Beyond, and they are also Free State
D-devils on the other hand are an italian duo
I saw an interview with Jono Grant on TV the other day, and he was talking about it.
Dave Pearce, unfortunately, did have something to do with the record :(, it's released on his label, Nulife (Which has brought us other quality acts such as Ian Van Dahl and The Warp Brothers :p). The actual production of the record has nothing to do with the gap toothed gypsy (Dave Pearce to anyone who doesn't listen to Mark + Lard), because the Drill was a white label released in the summer of 2000, and apparently "tore up" the dancefloors of ibiza in that year, and it's only recently that Dave Pearce made his mark and destroyed what was quite a good record IMO. |

| thats fair enuff, i have no idea who d-devils are, I remember downloading one tune of theirs mistaking it for the Dirt Devils, and deleting it cos it was awful :p |

i talked to one of the guys personally on Napster like a year ago and in fact it was him, I remember even posting an interview with them here. They told me that they wanted to do some cheese stuff as well and that's why the release info for every release by Dirt Devils said that it's made by an Italian Duo, in fact it is made by above & Beyound, they just don't want to get bashed for doing some cheese stuff, when they are pretty good at dooing both!
That info comes straight from them! NO ! NO BS!:eek: |
