XiJaro presents Summer Excitemix (Huge Mega Mix, suggestions for tunes needed!)

To show our support for the new and improved SenseGenerate.FM, we (XiJaro) have decided to make a special exclusive mix for them to celebrate the summer and the relaunch of the station.
The mix will be called: Summer Excitemix, and those who've been following our Sunset Excitement show since it started at Party107 should know what to expect from an Excitemix. Only this time we're taking it to the next level.
It will be a huge megamix filled with lots and lots of awesome tunes which will often be layered on top of eachother to form exciting new combinations and mashups.
The Summer Excitemix will be exclusively broadcasted on SenseGenerate.FM on a soon to be announced date and time. After that we will try to make it available for download to everyone, possibly also in splitted CD-length format (if anyone can help us with the hosting it will be greatly appreciated).
So for all those who liked our 2005 Yearmix (and those who were waiting for the Extended Edition) or just anyone who likes megamixes and mashups this will be the thing you absolutely can't miss!

UPDATE (May-30-2006):
Alright, got a bit more info. We plan to make the mix 4 hours long. Looking at the mixing so far, we should be able to include at least 160 tunes in the mix :)
There are plenty of tracks that we would want to include but we have to pick the best ones. That's why your opinions are very important and we can use all your suggestions for tracks, so keep them coming.
The serious mixing will start next week (when I have a week off). We plan to have the entire mix finished before the 11th of June.

UPDATE (July-29-2006):
There have been a few problems which prevented me from working on this mix.
First of all, early this month I removed some old music files from my pc. Some of these were used in the Summer Excitemix, but I thought I had replaced them in the project with new high-quality versions (wavs). Unfortunately it seemed I had forgotten some.
Normally when there are files missing, Ableton gives you a message and asks you if you want to search for the missing files or files that can replace them. Ableton did give this message when I loaded the project file, but it also crashed within one second everytime.
Because of this I wasn't even able to see which files were missing, let alone replace them. Needless to say, I was quite depressed when I realised all my hard work was lost...
So I put the mix aside for a while, thinking that I would be able to re-mix it from what I remembered. I didn't really get any time to do this though. XiJaro has since recently been hosting three radioshows on four different radio stations and doing this takes up a lot of time. So much time even that we have decided to do these shows less frequently now. We simply don't have the time to work on other projects otherwise.
This week I reorganised my music, causing all my files to change location. During a discussion about the Summer Excitemix, I decided to open the project file again to see if perhaps anything had changed, and this was indeed the case.
All files were missing now, but I was able to locate them. Ableton no longer crashed. So now I have recovered about 90% of the mix (there are some tracks I still have to rip from cd again).
After next week, I will have a three week vacation. This should give plenty of time to finish the Summer Excitemix. I still very much want to make this mix (maybe even more so with all the new tunes that are out now) and it WILL be a four hour mix. I'm not gonna make it shorter just so it will be finished faster.
I now realise it was a mistake to announce this mix long before it had reached completion. Delays are inevitable. Thanks to everyone who has not lost interest in this mix, I hope I will not dissappoint you.
Also, you can all continue to submit requests for tracks that you want included. And if you got any ideas or other comments please post them here too.

If you want to suggest some of your favourite tunes (they can be from any year) for us to put in the mix post them in this topic or send an email with your list and we will try to fit them in (please don't ask for any unreleased tunes cause we don't receive promos).

Ok, I guess that for people who never heard anything of us yet this is ofcourse not saying or meaning very much yet. So I guess I should give you all some idea of what to expect.
