It was a great party ... it had good and also at the samtime it was bad.

"THE GOOD"
Venue is amazing and it was too nice and clean to party in. You had ushers opening doors for you and helping you with directions to washrooms, rooms, seattings and the patio. ( I give them alot of respects to the staffs a Royal Thompson Hall for putting up with some stupid party -goers that attended the event) The crowd was really good in the other hand, alot of different party culture came out to party tonight and the vibe was solid. The non smoking was good ... b/c it was different and made me smoke less. But it was alittle a pain in the ass sometimes ... missing some tracks just to smoke, and also no drink allowed in the main room. It 100% understandable, that venue was beautiful. The service from the coat cheack, bar, snack bar and even the securities were seriously amazing. Always a smile on their face while greetting you. I felt I was in Buckingham Place for a party. NO JOKE !!! The rooms were setted up really good and the main room where the Classical Hall was setted up perfectly. Wicked dance floor *beautiful wooden floors with a nice finshing to dance on* and stadium seating to chill/relax though out the night. The other room was huge ... and had such a nice carpet.

Now it's time for the ...

"AND THE UGLY"
Nothing much to complain about the venue, but the turnout wasn't so hot and I hope Destiny and LifeForce can somehow recover from this. I've talked to some RTH staffs and the tickets sales were around 1000. If you were doing any kind things you soundn't have ... the security, paid duty police and undercovers were everywhere. *which i stopped that crapp along time ago* Lighting was dissapointing and lazers & screens could not be found in any of the rooms :(

DJ SETS

JELO
I got in when Jelo was on and WOW ... he was spining some really HARD house, techno and breaks. I was indeed impressed.

DJ MICRO
His debute was amazing !!! Solid trance, hard progressive and nu skool breaks (progressive/trance breaks). Alot of wicked tracks thrown down (I forgot the name but it's one of Tiesto's progressive tracks on Magik 7) and he even played RAPTURE !!! (Riva Mix) * I know this is consider as GINO BEATS now, but I love this version the most. I've heard the DeepDish and AvB LIVE ... but it doesn't compaire to this version at all.* Micro's set was pushing really HARD and AGGRSIVE all night !!! For sure I'll go to the next 19+ event he shows up in Toronto.

Starecase Sound System
Not my thing at all. Down tempo and very boring progressive. It made me serious go into a BAD MOOD !!! Also it cleared out the room in such a matter you can not beleave. This proformence was a LIVE PA and combined with a DJ. First time I've ever saw this concept but it killed that room.

DJ SNEAK
This dude was laying is so called FATbeats *you know what I mean by his apearence* which cleared the room very quickly. Even thou he had such a big crowd at the start the set was pretty meloow 75% of the time. He spun a Duran Duran track that made me run away from the room like a mad man.

I was waiting for OS/2 to come on but the party ended when Starcase SS and DJ Sneak were finshed on the decks. I guess I missed him ... due to the fact I came around 12:10am. I wanted to hear some bad ass tracks !! Such as DJ Tiesto - Subrain Train and Mauro Picotto - Like this like that tracks he normally play.

Specail thanks for all my friends that came out and the party friends I've bumped into.

Over all this event was NOT to be missed. I don't think any Promoters will have the chance to use The Royal Thompson Hall as venue again. *If they do ... I suggest bigger headliners. (TICKET price will be REALLY EXPENSIVE for sure)* It was a memorable event as the fyler claimed it to be. Too bad Starcase Sound System ruined it for me and alot of ppl. Like I said before ... LifeForce and Destiny, I hope you guys can recover a huge lost like this and still through 19+ events in the near future. Going to sleep now ... it's 630am and I'm really beat.

I wasn't able to make it, but only a 1000 people! That's a huge loss man. I think so anyways. Huge headliners? In the house world, Sneak is as big as they get. Starecase is some strange ass man. He's signed to Hope, I don't mind his production, it's an acquired taste that's for sure. That's gonna hurt Destiny.

From what I heard, downtown TO was pretty quiet everywhere. I was at System & was expecting a much bigger line-up than what was there when I arrived. The club became pretty spacious after 3am too. I dunno what was up with last night....
There were several people that I spoke to last night that had expressed curiosity & interest in going to the Renaissance party (because of the venue & sound), but didn't find the line-up strong enuf to shell out $39. I've been dying to see Micro for ages, but having been unemployed for 3 months now, I have to watch where I spend my money. Sounds like it was an experience worth going to.

No way man .... BadBoyBill and DJ Dan are the biggest names for house.

When DJ Mirco and DJ Sneak started to spin ... both rooms were rammped packed !!!

I thought this was one of the more interesting parties I've been to. I agree that the venue was defintely amazing. "Service" and cleanliness were top-notch. I love that fact that I could sit down almost anywhere- no worries. Kinda crappy that I had to do a track-and-field routine everytime I had to use the bathroom...

Lightwork left something to be desired. While chillin' in the Aud seats, I would have loved to see some cool lightshows and Special Effects (lasers and ). Although the ceiling was cool enough- mad respect to the architects of RTH...

Security was everywhere which was sort of stifling at first, but I got used to it... safer parties anyway.

As for the crowd, it was nice for a change not to see any "G'd out" shirtless gino's. Although I did see some f*cked up sh!t, it was nothing I haven't seen before. Overall, one of the better crowds I've seen lately at big parties...

Sounds: Micro was impressive, Jelo was pretty sic too. For Starecase... I thought they were mediocre at times, although it didn't ruin the party for me or anything...

I agree, overall the party was great.

Shout-outs to Galvatron and company, Furious, and the sketch-crew
