dual monitors - sharpness + clarity problem

I'm running two monitors on an ATI 9200 series graphics card.
It has two outputs, one VGA (secondary), and one DVI-I (primary)
I have one flat screen LCD and one flat screen CRT.
For some reason, the monitor that is hooked up to the DVI-I output is always less sharp than the VGA connected monitor.
Its not the monitors, because when I switch them up, its the same deal. Always the VGA is better.
Is there something I need to know about my graphics card? Why cant they both have the same sharpness and clarity (aside from the small differences between CRT and LCD, its a bigger difference than that)
Thanks |

i have the same card and use to run 2 17" CRT's
it was suppppper blurry. i bought two LCD's and its been fine ever since. unfortunatly, my knowledge about graphic cards is minimal... i almost went and bought another one. |

k i fixed it, the problem was that i was using a DVI-I to VGA adapter...
when i switched to a straight DVI-DVI connection it was clear |
