The first 20-25 minutes between Serbia & Montenegro and Uruguay was ours and we played very well. Serbia & Montenegro created a lot of chances during the first half and had a couple of oppurtnities to score even more goals on Uruguay.

Dejan Stankovic scored the goal for Serbia & Montenegro after a shot from Uruguay's left side, It was probably meant to be a cross for the players in the middle, but the ball found it's way through everyone and was found in the back of the net. Good performance, and hard for the goalkeeper to see the ball because there was so many players in the middle of the defence.

The rest of the second half was Uruguay's, They started playing a lot better and got the chance while Serbia & Montenegro were defending themselves. Giacomazzi had a great chance to score but it was saved by Dragoslav Jevric. Also another chance was given to Uruguay but a player missed the goal completely, Should've been 1-1.

Second half underway.

Serbia & Montenegro started out very well in the second half and created a lot of chances. Dejan Stankovic showed that he was ready for the World Cup by working hard for the team, making a lot of breakthroughs and creating many chances.

Predrag Djordjevic showed that he was a player to count on when the first game against the Netherlands is going to be played. He was all over the pitch, working hard and creating openings for himself and the other players. He also had a couple of good crosses which our attackers couldn't score on.

Uruguay had a good period when Serbia & Montenegro wanted to score another goal, which opened up their defence a little because of Dragutinovic's offensive raids. They were given a freekick on the exact place where Dejan Stankovic had scored before, and Estoyanoff crossed the ball perfectly between the defenders, and Godin could score, 1-1.

Serbia & Montenegro continued playing good offensively, and substitute Nikola Zigic was given a chance to score with his head, But the ball was saved by Carini. Very good save. On the following corner Serbia was very close to score again, but Uruguay didn't concede anymore goals this night.

Final result 1-1. There are still some things to improve until the game against the Netherlands. Nemanja Vidic isn't playing and Dusan Basta may be the one who will get the chance, This would give us a defensive line with Dusan Basta, Goran Gavrancic, Mladen Krstajic and Ivica Dragutinovic. Some players will need to improve their game, I really hope they do.

That our serbs are going to make it through if they play like they did today offensively. They weren't impressing defensively though.

They would've play a lot better if this was a match they had to win or if it was more important than just being this regular warm up friendly game.

I still think they were playing quite well, besides some of the small misses they did. Anyways, They won't go to attack when they're playing bigger and more important games when they are in the lead.

This was just a test.

There's just one injury, leaving Mirko Vucinic outside the World Cup squad.

Petko to call up someone in a couple of days, probably monday. Hopefully Krasic from U-21.
