FS: Technics SL-1200M3D ($550) and Pioneer CDJ-800 ($650)

Technics SL-1200M3D (1 Available)

VERY-Good Condition "used" Technics SL-1200M3D Turntable ($700+ CAD$ new) and Stanton Trackmaster II-RS DJ Cartridge ($120 CAD$ new). This is about 2.5 years old and comes complete with box & cartridge. It has not been used for more than 60 hours of play, all within a home (smoke free) environment. Technics slipmat included.
Note: Because this unit is "used" it may have minor cosmetic scuffs, scratches, etc. that do NOT effect unit performance. $800+ CAD$ value if purchased new.

Technics SL-1200M3D Turntable Price: $550 CAD$

Pioneer CDJ-800 (1 Available)

VERY-Good Condition "used" Pioneer CDJ-800 CD Turntable ($700+ CAD$ new). This is 2+ years old and comes with box. This unit received a factory "tune-up" (laser alignment & cleaning) from Pioneer Canada less than 1 year ago ($150 CAD$ value).
Note: Because this unit is "used" it may have minor cosmetic scuffs, scratches, etc. that do NOT effect unit performance. $800+ CAD$ value if purchased new (or used with a tune-up).
Info: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product...onomy_id=44-106

Pioneer CDJ-800 CD Turntable Price: $650 CAD$

---------------------------------

Note: I am not desperate to sell either items (silly offers will not be considered). Both units are in great condition and being offered well under actual value. Will deliver and setup within GTA (to demonstrate setup and that they work). Items are no longer under warranty (Technics & Pioneer offer 1 year warranty only). Cash due on delivery. No tax (obviously).

RJ, you're tempting me with those CDJs, but alas, I should not buy. That's next summer's investment.
DJ_Ampz
Is RJ out of the business?

You must be very proud of yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back.

I'm not selling this for financial reasons. The unit has had a Pioneer factory service "tune-up" recently and has not been mis-used or abused. I challenge to find any CDJ-800 delivered to their door in such a condition for anything near $650 (tax included).

Check out Froogle: http://froogle.google.com/froogle_c...ARg&scoring=mrd

Add in exchange, shipping + customs duty + taxes (charged by customs!) and total cost is ~$800. Buy from any store in Canada and total cost is $800 + shipping + tax.

Ditto. I picked up my MK2's off Rj a few years ago, they work perfectly. I'm really eyeing the cdj but can't...saving up for other stuff.

a cdj in excess of 2yrs old regardless of servicing and condition is overly expensive at $650. It's not like the dollar is at 0.60 or anything. Even with shipping and duty you

I'm not the only one that thinks that. Here's a link to someone trying to sell a cdj-1000 for a similar price with funds converted over, and he's taking flak for his price.

Though I suppose if you're not willing to take a risk on someone from ebay or you don't want to pop the extra $150 for the mkII model with mp3 support and a warrantay then have at 'er.

(=

I can't wait to see what flavour of (not so) witty comment I get, seeing that I've already given myself a pat on the back earlier today.

i dont understand people coming into 'for sale' threads, and making complaints about the price. if the price itself is too high, and he cant sell it because of it, im sure he will lower it. personally, i'd be pretty in pissed if people came in my for sale thread and more or less told people 'dont do it!'. let the people who are in the market for dj gear do the research themselves, and keep the negotiating of price to PM's.

and yes, RJ does infact baby his ....

i only see one that's cheaper than RJ's - i highly doubt it's been remotely as well taken care of as his.. and there's still bidding for 2 more days.

i love how someone thinks to themselves "i'd never pay that much" so they assume it's a rip off. it's worth _whatever_ someone is willing to pay. every day someone spends more $$ on something than someone else believes it's worth - but you know what - it's worth it to them!

i would gladly buy it from RJ to save myself the hassle of dealing with someone i don't know & to ensure i get a quality product that has been well taken care of.

take your threadcrapping bs elsewhere.

the more expensive ones on ebay are all new.
