What can I say? GREAT sets!!! Heard some killer tracks dropped. The headliners didn't disappoint this attendee!
It was my 1st time back to System in a few months, and it was good to see a lot of old faces. A lot of the regulars came out for this party. Ran into Arcticboy & Tranner, which was cool. I got a Parks & Wilson cd, and a Breathe t-shirt as prize give-a-ways. It was fun seeing what some people threw together to show their shades of blue- the most 'radical' was a painted blue face (altho I would've chosen a lighter/ brighter shade of blue....), and there were several blue wigs & hair dye jobs running around. Also got to see the new lasers that have been installed, & they make a very nice addition to the club. |

How many times have u gone out somewhere and seen a buncha people comparing underwear? Everyone was showing their friends that they even wore blue underwear to get into the spirit of things....... what a sight! |

anyone who wasn't at tilt missed out so huge. those guys can really
lay the progressive down. for all you trance-kiddies, you don't know what your missing. not all progressive is boring, or slow, or whatever you like to belittle it as. when it's done well it's amazing, and it was done well last night. my high point was when they dropped bjork - all is full of love (brancaccio and aisher mix)
and the relentless vocal mix of tilt - headstrong.
amazing.

I was there...and although i love the proggie stuff i have to say that I enjoyed their last set (at Twilo in 2000) more then I did this time around. Still they played some good tracks and the mixing as usual was excellent...but for me what made the night special was the fact that the System crowd was so friendly (and no i wasn't taking my elements ;)). After facing the crowds at Guvernment on a regular basis i can safely say that the system crowd is much better, and the vibe in the club more then made up for the fact that Parks and Wilson didn't spin my favorite song War of the Worlds - Eve of the War (Tilt Mix).
I tried to look for TA's but i wasn't able to find any of you guys there, still i managed to hook up with some pretty kewl liquid dancers and so had a pretty good time. I have to say that System is definately a club i will have to go to more often ;) |

Good to see you too man. I wandered away for a bit, and then went looking for you and RR and you guys had vanished! Too bad :( I stayed until about 5:30 am...good times.
I had a blast at System....although my leg was hurting me...and I was dead tired...the tunage still managed to get me going.
Peace,

That ERA is dead ... damn here we go again. It was cool at first when it was just the Orginal White Glove Crew and Blue & Yellow bandz, but it was out of hand when the other colours came in and soon after 1000s upon 1000s of ravers (newbies) were doing it. (In 1999 - 2000) Then all the liquid kids realize liquiding was lame and took of their gloves and stop doing it. *Its more of a reason to hate each other and snob out strangers* Nowadays it seem like the US are getting into it .. since their partyin' is getting more mainstream there. *They are going through what I call ... our 98 - 2000 scene*
*After awhile you'll noticed Liquid kids ... liquid the same patern over and over ... all night long and the only thing they do ... is bite each other stlyez*
Liquiding is cool if your an ELITE, but if you NOT good at it ... LORD HAVE MERCY UPON YOU. You look like the biggest retard with white gloves. Out of 1000s of liquid kids ... only a hand full have impressed me back in the days. |

Liquid is dead...hmmm someone forgot to give me the memo. How can you say something like the Era is dead ? That would be like saying that breakdancing is dead...i'm sorry but that is a baseless statement. I'm not saying that i'm a great liquid dancer or that I'm elite (I don't own any white gloves and i don't believe in battling). The only reason I like Liquid is because it's actually some sort of dance where u have to learn some moves to look good. My experience of most people who snub liquid or glowsticking is that they are the same people who have no moves and spend their time jumping up and down on the spot with their hands in the air. I'm not trying to start beef but if you don't have anything positive to say about something, i think it's better to just keep quiet.
PEACE
