Speaker Systems

I'm after some new speakers for my PC as I play all my music through my PC and it's hooked up to my HiFi at the moment but I think the speakers are on their way.
A surround sound system would be nice, but I would need the rear satellites to be on the tall stands as I can't go attaching stuff to walls as it's not my house!
Has anyone got any recommendations? They need to be available in the UK!
And reasonably priced!

screw a cheapo surround sound, buy a denon/yamaha stereo receiver and some nice british 2-3way monitors ftw.

You could check out the soundsticks from HK
I know Klipsch also delivers Quite good sound to both pc systems and hifi/surround systems

good luck

I did look at the soundsticks, are they any good? They look rather cool!

if you're after mostly music sound, forget surround, stereo will be much better for the money. After all you cannot expect to get 6 speakers of the same quality as two for the same price.

Ive heard the soundstick are pretty good. If they are within your pricerange, just buy 'em dude. They are good!

Also, they are from Harman Kardon, which is quite cool ;)

Yeah I think I might, they seem like a good deal really, and look lovely!
I'll have to tidy my desk though, they suit the minimalist look a bit more than the pile-of-junk-on-a-desk look.

You'll be satisfied :)
Are you giving us a feedback once youve got them?
