so it's official. MWTA's....especially CTAs are the WORST at planning.

i keed i keed. it's mainly just my screwed up schedule.

i have to leave town on monday morning to go back to iowa because movers are coming to do a "pre-move out survey" to see what all I have for when they come to take all my stuff from my apt in Ames. and i already am spending my last night in chi-town w/ good friends from the old neighborhood.

have fun tho - and take pictards!

what are you talking about? this gig was posted 3 days prior to it taking place and we are already up to 100+ in attendance!! Now that's some sick planning and arrangement!!!! :D
wolverine16
Yeah, I just figured we'd have like 10 - 20 people over at most, since DEMF is this weekend, and a few people would trade off mixing until we pass out over cheap beer. But somehow, though it's really informal, we've assembled an arsenal of great local DJs and possibly more may be stopping by. This is going to be the best Memorial Day Weekend EVER!

Tubularbills, if you have to leave on Monday morning, you can still stop by Sunday night ;)
wolverine16
OK, it looks as far as DJs alone we have enough people to get kegs, but can we get a roll call to see how many we need?
Blake_Jarrell

if i didn't have plans already i would definitely come just for a quick stop by. but it's my last night in town before i take off for active duty, so i want to be able to spend it w/ friends and stuff.

not that CTAs aren't friends....but you know what i mean :)

so is the party still goin' on? :p

thanks so much for having us over, Andy. we had a GREAT time last night!
wolverine16
The party still might be going on somewhere else, but right now there's just a few people crashing in the living room and a mess that's being cleaned up :) I can't believe we had that incredible sound system set up and the laser/fog effects going on in my living room. Apparently the sound level was ok. but my neighbors were mad about the stuff outside on the deck, but that's been resolved.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out, wasn't sure what turnout would be with throwing this together on Friday, but it was a lot of fun until getting sick after spinning about 4 or 5 songs and having to crash. Special thanks to Bobby, Rob and Myra for coming down from Wisconsin, the Jaeger DJs for the equipment and great to hear Rob, Rubin, Blake, Bobby, Yuris and others mix. There was even the outside trance decks going in full force in addition to the main room.

Hope everyone had fun and my apologies for crashing early.
