But I guess it's the same as only using triads for you chords. DJSentinel I would recommend if you using triads to use MINOR triads. I have tried to write a trance track in a major key and it sounded a bit too bubblegum for me. Minor always elicits more emotion in my mind. Its whatever suits you I guess.
