A friend forwared me this quote that he found. Quite ironic. It's from a Nintendo employee probably public relations, circa 1989.
She was defending the impact that videogames have on people's behavior.
It goes - Computer games don't affect kids. I mean if pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.
Now i never enjoyed pacman but man! How ironic is this comment, 13 years later? |

hmmm since everyone is being dismissive i think i'll step up and say i enjoy the quote (even though i have seen it used before in a clubbing context ;))
what can i say...i loved playing pacman as a kid and i love doing my 'elements' as an adult ;) |

Ya, that's an oldie man. But I got this new one today from a rave documentary called "Better Living Through Circuitry". I might put this as my sig. I'm not sure.
