| 1000 has .02 pitch accuracy while the 800 has .05 accuracy...so the 1000 is a little more precise. The 1000 also has waveform display, hot cues and the ability to adjust the tightness of the platter. It also takes SD cards. The 800 is half the price and has all other features that the 1000 has. |

| for scratching the 1000 seems to track better also one difference that everyone seems to neglect is that the 1000 has two vinyl speed adjustments (Release/Start and Touch/Brake) whereas the 800 has only one (Touch/Release). The 800 has less pitch adjustments only +-10 and 100 whereas the 1000 has more options. Also the hot cues can be used as a mini sampler so yeah the 1000 has a sampler. Personally, despite costs, the 1000mk3 is my choice because those extra features come in handy for someone who scratches and like use turntablism in sets. |
