Okay, I've decided to go knowing damn well the crowd is going to be awful.
For others wanting to go, it's at some venue on the corner of Rankin and Custer. Menno's set is from 12-2. |

Yeah I am actually from L.A. but just came up for the show and to hang with Menno since I wasn't playing this weekend.
San Fran is nice, but I could never live here. Good thing its a 45 min flight :D and much cheaper than me flying to Holland to hang out.
I'm sure Menno will be back near you sometime in the next months. I'll post some pics when I get back to L.A. You'll be here in TA spirit :) and Menno says to say Hi! |

menno de jong is an awesome producer, his intuition radio show is pure ch00nage and i'd def like to hear live but you lost me at
i couldn't enjoy the music around that crowd, i've tried before and failed.
i'll wait for menno to return to an sf club or perhaps lovefest :) |

San Francisco LoveFest, formerly Love Parade San Francisco, occurs on Saturday, September 23, 2006
The official after party is being thrown by Spundae (YAY!) and Skills (you know, Popsicle) at Bill Graham (like Popsicle). They are working on making VIP actually worth the VIP cost this year after last year's dismal VIP (Popsicle pretty much had the same VIP setup)....some of the organizers were none to happy about it last year after everyone ripped into the VIP set.
There will probably be a few big parties around SF on the days surrounding the main event. And other major parties the night of the event, too.

If i don't re-new my passport in time then I wouldn't mind... also if a certain someone would go with me then i'm def there..
but Labour of Love is Sept 1st and I love Toronto so much... tough decision.. grrr
why in sept!! :(:( |
