im using photoshop 7.
1) i create a white space 130x480
2) paste it on a transperant space of 150x500
3) paste the logo
4) create the writing
5) save the transperant background with all the things ive pasted on it as a jpg file then it asks me to set quality and format and i leave it as the default settings which is high quality and baseline format (no idea what the hell that is) |

Try saving it as a .gif (or, .png)
jpg's do not support transparency ;) |
