for all the people that are thinking of using the ttc to get there and make your walk a bit shorter, you can consider taking the 172 Cherry St. bus. the info on the toronto beach site says take the 72 pape bus, but that only runs during the weekdays.
it runs every 20min on saturday which is not that bad.
here is the ttc map of the route

in the ttc service drop down menu click on route maps. on that page scroll down to 172. |

I can bring my BBQ if you guys don't mind waiting till later on in the afternoon to eat. its not very big tho... approx. 18" X 14" i think.
btw, it doesnt have to be a full on organized soccer game. just bring a soccer ball incase, and we'll play like we all did during recess back in the day... 2 captains pick teams, then a soccer game w/ no ref and very loose rules :D
oh and btw... how much is parking at Cherry Beach? |
