why is the cdj-800mk2 half the price of the cdj1000-mk3. are the sound qualities the same between the two? but what makes up 500 dollars between the two.

Which is why I prefer the 200 above all other models. Best product for it's cost IMO.

But the 800 is still a better value if you're looking for vinyl emulation. Depends on what you're looking for it to do. For straight mixing, the 200s are awesome.

yup use the search button.

Anyway, the MK3 isnt designed for those that already own the MK2. I believe its more for those that dont have the 1000s already. Thats why the MK1 and MK2 have been discontinued.

i JUST posted this same topic two days ago.

1000's have better loop functions with a greater accuracy than 800's. they both function about the same. so i hear. in the thread above. but i'm curious, when you say waveform display, do you mean a display that looks like traktor waveform display or something different?

someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Yea, it's kinda like a mini waveform so you can see where the track gets loud and soft and stuff...not as precise as traktor or virtual dj though I think.

these are the improvements on the mk3, and they may have one also on the 800 mk2.
