there are still uva/uvb rays in the air. and some of us are pale and burn easily. some of us don't want skin cancer, nor do we want to look like leathery wrinkled old bags when we are 40. :p
so yes, it is "hot enough" to use spf 30 if you care about your skin. |

not arguing really, but it's strange, since spf is something most people would use if they r going to Cuba or Dominican, or any other hot place
sun in Toronto is not nearly as strong as it is in a lot of other places
and common, one properly hot day, time to give that pale skin some colour, not hide under spf! :) |

This is just my opinion, but if you really wanted some colour, why not use self tanner or limit your exposure to a tanning salon where the bulbs are chemically 92+% UVA rays and only 8-% UVB... then you know exactly what your precious skin is being exposed to.
SPF 30 on my face every single day...even in the winter... I only have one face...
And when I am old, I would hate to have lovely liver spots and sun discolouration on my skin... how sexy is that? Definately not worth the nice bronzed skin when I am young... :eek: |

oh yeah, most of my face creams has a bit of SPF in them, so no argument there
i was actually thinking it terms of shoulder/arms/legs
and aren't tanning beds actually worse anyway? i'm a hypocrite here since I tan regularly, but I absolutely hate self tanners, most of them turn the skin orange and the colour is far from natural tan.. |

just use vichy or helena rubinstein for golden beauty summer legs. excellent natural looking products. you pay a bit more but they last for a good while. ;) |
