Hi all.
I'm going to Toronto on a business trip (oh darn! ;) for my company here in Japan next month and need to know what people recommend as a good club to go to while I'm there, or any parties I should make it too. I'll be there from the 17th till about the 24th.
Any advice would be much appreciated. |

Sat. March 17th - Destiny 37 - DJ Taucher
Thursday March 22nd - Turbo - Carl Cox
Plus Toronto's got some incredible local talent. If you gotta go clubbing I'd have to recommend the Guvernment on a Saturday night, a really kicking place and IMHO the best club in Canada. Mark Oliver spins an incredible 9 hour set of trance and progressive which I've never been disappointed with. I'd be at the Destiny party that weekend cause Mark Oliver's here every week, and I don't know if Taucher has ever been to Toronto! Either way you won't be disappointed with what T.O. has to offer. |

Cheers m8 for the info,
Looking forward to Carl Cox, and also the local scene. Been in Japan for 4 years at the moment. Tokyo goes off, and has a great scene. Think I'll enjoy sampling a bit of the famed toronto scene too for a bit a change! |

Best club in canda, well eastern canada (mtl, ottawa, TO) has to be Club Sona in montreal. They've been around for literrally 5 years. Sona had Tiesto that friday before he came to Montreal.
Guvernment is too main stream.
In TO, I'd say system sound bar Fridays and Turbo's Lifeforce Friday are better.. Atomic in Ottawa is good (but that's the only one) |

I went to Sona Dec 30th for Max Graham, that was amazing. You're right about the Guv being a bit mainstream, but the sound system, layout, styling, and sheer size is like none other. Same sound system as Twilo in NYC, but sounds better here cause it's a bigger room. |

| Having visited Austrailia recently .. and experiencing its scene.. i would highly encourage you to not hit the clubs or the large expensive parties (cheap by Aus. standards ;) at the very most here it can be 50$ (which is a rip off and i never go to them) ) but rather try out the Toronto underground scene.. march 16th there is a Saturn Technologies party going on for i think 6$ .. Ian Hind is going to be there.. i haven't been to a Saturn Technologies party but my friend says they're decent.. |

I guess your right about Guvernment, the sound system is unbelievable.. I've only been twice there.. once was urban friday (hmm.. I didn't know.. I had only been in town for 2 or 3 weeks).. The saturday I went was decent.. was VERY VERY packed though.. and I REALLY REALLY dont like venues that are packed like it was.. Packed venues generally turn me off.

Can anyone tell me where this Saturn Technologies place or party will be?
What the address is or the website address? The 16th sounds good, was hoping there'd be a party on the 16th, and the price is rite....
Cheers
