I'm posting this here hopefully you all read it. I had the idea maybe we should find a hotel that we can get a big suite in, instead of getting 2 rooms. I can bring an air mattress that I'll gladly sleep on.
There are a few Marriotts that have rooms that allow 6 people (having one more shouldn't be a problem).
It would probably end up costing us each like $30-$40 for Friday night.
I think it would be cooler if we're all in one Suite rather than having to split up. I'm pretty sure some of them have two bathrooms too so we don't have 7 peeps on one shower.
What do you guys think? |

yeah nothing more than $30-$40 per person for Friday night into Saturday <-- that seems reasonable enough. |

I wish I could make it to the Canada Day Celebration. Especially since so many of you guys are coming up. I would love to show you around MY part of North America! Haha
Unfortunatly I have to count this one out. I'm kinda low on cash (as I'm saving money to go to Holland for 4 months). And I had to pick between this party and Scumfrog at the Comfort Zone the following weekend. I just saw Gielen in January (and after we gave him Kiss Airscape Remix on a cd - the one song I've always wanted to hear in a club - he spun it for the TOTAs!!). So I've opted to pass on this party and see my fave house DJ spin at CoZo.

First time in 5 years that I will not be in Canada for Canada day weekend :( :( At times like this, I miss living with the rents during the summer!!

lol haah i guess i HAVE lost my touch. ehehhe. :tongue2 when i was going to Buffalo for school i used to drive 10-15 hrs each way easy ahha. i would totally do it again if i had my own car...

Yes it is...August or September I'm thinking. It's not official yet...it's if Cale and I can save up enough money.
I was talking to Ferry about it though. He said I could stay at his house...in his room...in his bed.. |

I want to go from Juneish to August or September. There's this 3 month work program I want to do (they set you up with a job - 24hrs a week, and you get your own flight and place to stay)...then if I can I want to travel for another month afterwards. |

its going...
I have a few prices that I found that I emailed to him. no matter what hotel we get, we will need at least one or two people's credit card to secure it, then everyone can give cash after. couldn't find a suite so im thinking probably 2 rooms, double queens, check-out Saturday.
***Everyone should make sure to bring mroe than enough cash to cover hotel, gas and tolls *during* the trip. Better not to owe money afterwards...easier this way :D
we're taking off at 12am Friday, I think. |
